Every year for at least the past five years I have participated in a 21 day food cleanse in January. I love it SO much that I have even repeated the program on my own many Julys! But what makes this particular food program so spectacular and life changing is the woman who runs it – Dr. Amy Lewis, D.Ac., Dipl. Ac. She is a board certified acupuncturist and the president of the DC Acupuncture Society.
She is my acupuncturist and has done more to help me function better than any one else in my 18 years of living with my illness. Through her I have truly come to understand how food is the best and most essential tool in my medicine cabinet.
Using supplies from Standard Process, Amy guides us through the program. She emails every day with support for us and answers specific questions or concerns. She proactively explains what’s going on in our bodies. And she offers ideas on how to deal with the myriad of symptoms that can come up when we try to clean up our food. We share recipes among us, and sometimes we complain to each other. But most of all, we encourage each other on when we might be wavering or struggling.
Truly, that community support and Amy’s awesome spirit as she guides us all has been integral to my success. And to the success of many others.
In her practice, Whole Health Associates, Amy often works with those who have chronic conditions and invisible illness. Her clients are at varying levels of ability and activity. She works closely with each individual to modify the cleanse so each person can succeed, no matter how weak or debilitated they are at the start. If I can do it, you can do it too.
And you don’t have to live in DC to do it. The group includes folks from all over the country.
But here is the best news: the Standard Process Purification is normally $269.00, but Amy offers the group package at $199.00. She discounts the program every year because she is committed to helping others feel better and stronger. So you get the amazing support system and the program at great price. It’s an incredible opportunity.
BUT you have to sign up by December 28th!
You can do so by emailing email@example.com or calling 202-822-1711.
Ask for Sharronda the Office Manager of Whole Health Associates, and she will get you all set up.
Also and for the first time, this year Amy is partnering with celebrity Chef Amy Riolo and L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, MD to host a class to learn how to cook and prepare healthy food on Saturday, January 13th at 1:30 pm. L’Academie de Cuisine is a top culinary school right in downtown Bethesda which offers cooking and baking classes to show you how to cook like a pro. We’ll learn the essential techniques to master this new way of eating and preparing food so we can easily continue our new habits beyond the 21 days of the official program. So if you live in the Washington DC area, you can also join that bonus class and learn some new cooking techniques for just an additional $99.00.
Yes, people do lose weight on the program. But more importantly for me, I just feel better. I have more energy and vitality, and my stomach issues improve. Discover more benefits here.
And for those who do join from my list, I will assemble some additional education on how essential oils can be used to further your wellbeing goals in 2018.
If you want to learn how food can be your best medicine, if you want to feel how that can be the case, then I encourage you to join me in 2018. The fun all begins on January 5th, 2018. I hope you’ll join me!

Food is the most important medicine we have. I don't believe in replacing good and healthy eating with a ton of pills.
