Ever wake up in the morning and say to yourself, "Yuck! Not again!" ?

Or perhaps you think something a bit more profane? I sometimes sure do! Even before I actually open my eyes, I know. You have that first dawn of realization that your body hurts before you even move, that you feel too weak to sit up,
that you’re going to have another day of ducking your symptoms and that yet again things won’t get done.
So, it’s no wonder we oftentimes linger in bed as we try and muster the strength and courage to face our day (or to cancel our day; it takes courage to do that too!).

Well, it doesn’t have to be that way.

What if if there was one practice you could do to loosen the stiffness, diffuse the pain and lift the heaviness?

There is. And you can. It’s called self-massage and everything you need to know is right here in our ebook.

How to Give Yourself a Love Rub ::
A Guide to Self-Massage
Rub Yourself With Love

I know what you’re thinking, but we’re not talking about that here.
This way – stroking your entire body with purpose and love – is nearly as good.
(And will lead to better results with that other type of love rub, too).
If you are sick, soothing yourself with self-massage is an essential skill to learn.

Anyone can benefit from self-massage. Many go through life disconnected from their bodies. But for those in physical pain and discomfort, this skill is even more essential.

And it costs practically nothing.

Do you fear you’re aren’t well enough to do this? I’m not going to lie. There are times when I’m flat out not well enough to massage myself. The oils can be a mess; the care demands too much thinking; the process can feel overwhelming.

Even though I’m a practiced self-massager, and I know well the benefits and even look forward to doing it, sometimes I simply don’t have the wherewithal and ability.

So what to do then?

I do one of two things:

I do an abbreviated version, which still confers benefits
(and I outline this short cut in the guide).

Or on even worse days, I will use soap to massage myself with the same gestures I learned from my self-massage practice.

Either of those is better than nothing.

One more thing – no matter how complete the massage you give yourself, the sense that you have the knowledge and skills to take care of yourself is invaluable. And that can still happen even with a shorter version of self-massage which is deeply worthwhile emotionally, no matter how extensive the actual physical motions can be.

You'll learn how to ::

Rooted in the traditions of ayurveda and the practice of abyanga, this guide translates those ancient methods to today’s modern world with practical advice and a fun tone. I’m SO excited to share this practice with you.

Testimonials ::

The Love Rub is one of the most beautifully written exercises on the art of self-love that I have ever encountered. Cassandra has not only explained the necessary positive effects of caring for our amazing bodies, but has also included medical reasons, and stunning spiritual text that allow the reader to be entranced in self-love over and over again.

- Marie Manucheri R.N., Energy Intuitive, Author of Intuitive Self-Healing

Loved the concept of “ love rub”! This is a terrific “ how to” for those of us who need to take better care of ourselves but rarely have a minute, let alone a few hours to schedule a massage. I highly recommend reading and DOING the Love Rub!

- Amy Lewis, L.Ac., M.Ac., Dipl.Ac

Cassandra outlines exactly what to do, in an easy and loving way. She shares which oils are best, her favorite ways to modify them, how to dress the part, and how to allow the oils to penetrate the skin afterwards. In this well designed outline, Cassandra has inspired me to try the love rub, and add more love to my life.

- Holli Thompson, CHHC, CNHP Author of Discover Your Nutritional Style

How to Give Yourself A Love Rub – A Guide To Self Massage is one of the best books I’ve read on self-massage. It’s time for people to be empowered and realize that their health is in their own hands. Cassandra does a fantastic job of capturing all of the ways in which the healing power of touch and abhyanga massage can soothe the soul, ease aches and pains, help you feel less anxious and keep you feeling well. This is a must-read for anyone with even the slightest interest in healing or body work.
