Terrific, informative and super short instructional videos for better living and healthy eating as well as fashion. They are inspiring, instructional and very helpful.
I don’t do it one month at a time. I dip in and take whatever ideas I need and that are doable.
She offers a plethora of suggestions for creating comfort in your life including routines, journaling and creating special spaces.
When you’re sick, you feel like you’re on a forced retreat from your life. But you may need a retreat from your forced retreat! Louden notes that a retreat not a place but an attitude. And she provides terrific guidance to plan a retreat that is truly renewing.
I adore her music and even got to see her in concert once here in DC. One of my favorites is Healing Mantras which offers 17 Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist chants, each repeated 108 times (a sacred number). Tracks cover removing of obstacles, peace, wisdom, healing, liberation and compassion. Other favorites of hers (on other albums) include Gayatri Mantra (The Essence album) and Om Mani Padme Hum (Love is Space album)
I have worked with Holli and adore her. I particularly find her recurring feature “What’s in my” where she reveals what’s in her medicine cabinet, sugar shelf, refrigerator, grain bin, etc. Her recipe finder is super helpful too by allowing you to search by ingredient or season. Check out her book too!
I’ve been a fan for years. I LOVE her juice and smoothie book. I love her Crazy Sexy Kitchen book and the really helpful teaching videos! So many of us don’t know how to prepare food that’s tasty and healthy and her videos help. She also provides information about clean cosmetics and home care. With her voice and wit, it’s no wonder she’s a leader in the field of clean eating and living.
Amy is an acupuncturist in DC, and she also leads a 3 week purification program which you can do where ever you live. Her knowledge, wit and support make it my go-to cleanse when I’m looking to reboot cleaner eating habits. She believes “the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. If properly fed and given the right nutrients, the human body is designed to repair itself.” I’ve experienced that.
Paleo chicks Diane Sanfilippo and Liz Wolfe are engaging and informative. I love that they provide the time codes so you can go directly to whichever topic is of interest to you.
