Holiday Lift Magic Mix

Winter

What do you conjure when you think of holiday aromas?
Pine?  Cookies?  Oranges? Eggnog?

Here is my go-to magic mix for a holiday lift.
Frankincense has long been used to foster deep connection, so it’s a perfect scent for this time of year, especially if you are feeling alone.

In the recipe below, I mention a votive light essential oil warmer or an essential oil diffuser.
You can often find these in health food stores or Whole Food stores, too.

Let me know how it works in the comments!

Here are the components and why they are included ::

CLOVE

for balance, support, and courage.
The Latin word ‘Clavus’ means nail shaped, referring to the bud.
Used by the Greeks, Roman and the Chinese, to ease toothache and to sweeten breath.
Helps shift from onslaught to protection.

FRANKINCENSE

for focus, energy and concentration.
Long considered a holy oil, one of the three kings gifted this to the baby Jesus, according to scripture.
This oil was used to improve communication with God during rituals and ceremonies.
Helps to ease hyperactivity and promote spiritual awareness and quietness.

WILD ORANGE

for calm, uplift and purification.
This oil was used to suppress the spread of the influenza virus, so it’s used to support the immune system
Helps to invigorate and energize.

NEROLI

for relaxation and strength
Originally cultivated in the western parts of India, Eastern Africa, and the Himalayas,
this oil was named after the 16th century Princess Anna Maria de La Tremoille of Nerola, Italy,
who loved the fragrant orange blossom scent and introduced it to Italy.
Helps to alleviate anxiety and to induce quiet.
